Ability at Knight Frank
Around 80% of people with lived experiences of disability or ill-health develop these conditions during their prime working years. Despite comprising around 12% of the workforce, many employees grapple with this new identity while navigating work challenges.
Employees with disabilities often report a lack of personal disability confidence and feel isolated managing disabilities alone at work, hindering career advancement and risking mental and physical well-being. This lack of confidence can lead to colleagues hesitating to request necessary adjustments, avoiding sharing personal information, and feeling unable to bring their authentic selves to the workplace.
Disability Confident

We’re proud to be a Disability Confident employer. Working with our partner Purple Tuesday and our internal working group, we’ve successfully completed the Disability Confident self-assessment. We’re committing ourselves to actions to ensure we get the right people for our business as well as retaining and developing our people.
Employee Resource Group: Ability
