As part of our latest research, we interviewed 43 major investors in the sector, with total assets invested of more than £30bn, accounting for more than a third of the sector.
We asked them to identify cities where they see the opportunity for outperformance in the sectors over the next five years.
The results are shown below, with London and Bristol were identified in the top three cities across all three sectors, while Birmingham came out on top for investment-grade PRS.
Our team heads also share their views for opportunities in their sectors below.
When asked which sector would outperform this year, PRS narrowly beat student accommodation, according to the survey respondents.
