From 1st - 6th May, the town is a musical hotspot as it hosts the Cheltenham Jazz Festival. The event’s artistic curator, Gregory Porter, extols its virtues by saying, “Cheltenham Jazz Festival has an international reputation for bringing the very best artists together and producing unique shows.” It’s not just for jazz aficionados. The festival prides itself on being inclusive, offering something for everyone. It’s a great time to experience Cheltenham.

The Jazz Festival is just the start of the cultural events over the summer in Cheltenham. In June, there’s a science festival (4 - 9th June), followed by a music festival in July (6 - 13th). Then in October, the Cheltenham Literary Festival hits town (4 - 13th).

The highlights of the Cheltenham cultural calendar, these events are brilliant at bringing together the community, providing inspiration and attracting renowned artists to the spa town.
