_Brian Hadrian: “If you try and give 100%, you can really excel and reap the rewards."

As part of Knight Frank's World Cultural Day series, Brian talks about family, education, inspiration, and celebrating what makes us different.
May 20, 2024

Brian joined Knight Frank in 2021 as Service Desk Team Lead before taking on more and more responsibility across the IT department.

Early life

Brian was born and raised in Bangalore, Southern India, to a close-knit family he tries to keep in touch with as much as possible when time differences and working schedules allow.

He credits his mum for the driving force behind his education, as she was a teacher at the same school he studied at, keeping him under her supervision. While Brian loves it here in the UK, calling it his second home, he does miss the weather and food in India, his favourite dish being a biryani. Can hardly blame him there!

Moving to the UK

Brian joined the IT provider Microland in 2017 as a Service Desk Analyst to provide IT support for Clifford Chance. He performed exceptionally, so was assigned to work in their London office for a year in 2019. After his stint in London, Brian returned to India and was appointed Service Desk Team Lead for Knight Frank in 2021, before quickly returning to London to manage the Desktop Support Team. In addition to managing desktop support operations, he has taken on responsibilities in AV/Premier support, ensuring that his stakeholders receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.

High performance through dedication

Brian’s Desktop Support Team Manager role has presented many challenges and opportunities, allowing him to grow as a leader and progress across all aspects of his role. He approaches each task with hard work and enthusiasm, which includes troubleshooting technical issues and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless service to the end users. He credits his high performance in his roles to communication with the user and his enjoyment of working with people and solving issues as fast as possible, which he sees as a rewarding challenge.

His inspiration

Brian draws inspiration from both his personal and professional life, whether it’s his colleagues who go above and beyond to support one another, his mentors who have guided him on his journey, or his wife, who is his unwavering source of strength and support. He is constantly inspired by the people around him who live with integrity, empathy, and kindness.

World Cultural Day

Reflecting on the importance of World Cultural Day, Brian says, “Events like these provide an opportunity to celebrate the rich diversity of cultures, traditions and perspectives that make our world so vibrant and unique. I’m proud to be a part of an organisation that values and embraces diversity. By coming together to recognise our differences, we foster a sense of unity and belonging within the organisation and create a positive impact on the world around us.”
