Since the 21st president, the house has been owned by the English writer and Guinness brewery heiress, Lady Caroline Blackwood. More recently, it has been the home to European fashion tycoon Jürgen Friedrich and his wife, Anke Beck Friedrich, who have made seamless interior updates and completely modernised the property.
